Jr. B Canadiens lose one, one win

ST. PAUL - The St. Paul Canadiens took a loss during last Friday night’s home game against the Vermilion Tigers.

With a final score of 7-5, there was plenty of action on the ice at the Clancy Richard Arena.

Unhappy with Friday’s outcome, the Canadiens balanced out the weekend with a 5-0 win on Saturday as they hit the road to take on the Onion Lake Border Chiefs.

The Canadiens remain in first place in the Northeastern Alberta Jr. B Hockey League with 30 points, but the Wainwright Bisons and Vermilion Tigers are both only two points away from top spot with 28 points each so far this season.

The St. Paul will hit the ice at home on Friday, Dec. 16 against the Vegreville Rangers. The puck will drop at 8 p.m. at the Clancy Richard Arena.
