Rescheduled games and more league play

On Jan. 4, the three U15 boys' teams from the Lakeland - Bonnyville, Cold Lake and St. Paul - played each other at the Centennial Centre in Bonnyville. The matches were supposed to take place in December but had been rescheduled due to weather. Each team took a win and a loss on Saturday, making for a competitive day.

U11 boys' teams from Bonnyville, Cold Lake and Lac La Biche also hit the indoor pitch on Saturday for some games.

Several teams will head to Cold over the Jan. 10 and 11 weekend to take part in league play at the Energy Centre. More league games will take place in Cold Lake the following weekend also, making for a busy January.

A number of Lakeland soccer teams are also registered to play in the Edmonton-based FC Memorial soccer tournament, later in the month.
