LAKELAND - The Cold Lake Energy Centre was buzzing with soccer from Feb. 21 to 23 as the indoor Lakeland Cup tournament took place.
Teams from across the Lakeland Soccer District in the U13 to U17 categories went head-to-head at the Reid Fieldhouse. Up for grabs was a trip to Tier 4 indoor provincials in Edmonton, and the opportunity to continue playing the sport a little longer. The first place teams in each category will head to provincials March 14 to 16, along with teams that automatically qualified, including the U19 boys' and girls' Lakeland United squads, and the U17 Lakeland United girls' team.
