ST. PAUL - The Clash of the Saints brought former student-athletes to the St. Paul Regional High School gymnasium on Dec. 21 for some entertaining basketball.
Despite the cold weather outside, the bleachers at the high school gym were filled with spectators, and there were more than enough alumni on hand to take on the current Saints senior girls' and senior boys' teams.
On the girls' side, it would take a three-point shoot out to decide a winner after the final game ended in a 14-14 tie.
On the boys' side, the alumni team - which included enough participants to form a handful of teams - would take the win.
The evening acted as a fundraiser for the school's athletic program, and a food drive for the St. Paul Food Bank was also held.
