QMJHL roundup: Tourigny helps Cataractes roll past Remparts 5-1

QUÉBEC — Captain Jordan Tourigny had a goal and assist, Julien Lanthier and Louis-Philippe Fontaine each had two assists, and the visiting Shawinigan Cataractes defeated the Quebec Remparts 5-1 in Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League action on Saturday at Centre Videotron.

Isaac Menard, Antoine Pilotte, Matvei Gridin and Cole Chandler also scored for the Cataractes (34-18-3-5), who led 1-0 after the first period and 2-0 heading into the third.

Mathias Loiselle scored for the Remparts (23-30-3-4), who were outshot 30-28.

The Cataractes went 1-for-6 on the power play, while the Remparts went 0-for-6.

CHICOUTIMI, Que. — Alexis Bourque's power-play goal at 18:57 of the third period completed a third-period comeback and lifted the visiting Victoriaville Tigres to a 4-3 win over the Chicoutimi Sagueneens.

Etienne Dupere, Enzo Lottin and Olivier Houde also scored for the Tigres (16-39-1-3), who trailed 3-1 with six minutes left in the third period.
