Peacefully on December 30, 2024, Germaine (Charron) Cote passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital.
She was predeceased by her husband Denis Cote; her parents, Camille and Antionette Charron; brothers Philippe, Richard, Roland, Bernard, Adrien, Hector, Denis, Marcel, and Maurice. Sister Isabelle, Therese, Rolande and Rosemarie.
Germaine will be lovingly remembered by daughter Gisele Russell (Mark); sons Dennis (Frances), Marc (Diane), and George (Maria); grandchildren Isla and Benjamin; sister Aline (Jean Marc); nieces. nephews, and many friends.
Germaine loved spending winters in Arizona with her husband Denis, visiting with friends, painting and creating stained glass pieces. She crocheted many items for her kids and grandkids. She enjoyed traveling, taking many road trips throughout Canada to visit family and friends, and out of the country to Europe and China.
A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 8 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 6 McMillian Avenue, Red Deer, AB.
The family is sincerely grateful to the staff of the Red Deer Regional Hospital for their care in mom’s final days.
