It is with profound sadness that the family of Bobby James Funk, of Edmonton, Alberta, formerly of Bonnyville, Alberta, announces his passing on Monday, January 17, 2022 at the age of 45 years.
Leaving to mourn with cherished memories: parents: Jim Funk (Peggy), Pamela Williams; four siblings: Jimmy (Tracey), Michelle (Dave), Lisa (Sonny), Chris (Cher); eleven nieces and nephews; as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
Bobby was predeceased by his grandparents: David Funk, Gertrude Dyck, Alexander Harper, Rose Leslie.
Bobby left an impression everywhere he went; he was funny, witty, worldly, fearless, adventurous and very intelligent! He had a passion for cooking, art and music, but he loved nothing more than his family and friends. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend; his journey's end will be mourned by many whom he touched in his short lifetime.
As you reminisce on your memories and moments spent with Bobby, think about his favorite quote from his favorite movie, Steel Magnolias: "I love you more than my luggage".
