On Saturday June 20, 2020, Mary MacNeil passed away at the age of 56 years. Mary was known for her love of all things living, her sense of humor and a creative, free spirit.
As a mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Mary will be missed by her partner, Gerry Nickols; children, Sarah (Brandon) McDougall & Alex MacNeil.
She will also be missed and remembered by her brothers and sisters, Marg (David) Maley, Sharon (Dan) Marouelli, Hugh (Claudette) MacDonald, Rod (Colleen) MacDonald, Darcy MacDonald and Dan (Maryanne) MacDonald as well as numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. Mary was predeceased by her parents, Hugh & Kaye; and her sister, Heather MacDonald.
A Celebration of Mary’s life was held at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul.
A Virtual Celebration via Facebook will be held at a later date. In recognition of Mary’s love of animals, donations may be made to Humane Society of Edmonton or St. Paul Animal Shelter c/o 5626 - 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
