RoseMarie Ouellette passed away peacefully on March 9,2024 at Sagebrush Care Centre where she had been residing for a few years. She is survived by her brother George (Marilyn) Ouellette, sister - Therese (Harvey) Huppie and brother - Alfred Ouellette, as well as nine nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Jeanne and Napoleon Ouellette, and brothers - Andre (infant) and Gabriel Ouellette.
She was born and raised in the LaCorey (Bonnyville) area. At 16 years of age, she left home and went to work, first in St. Vincent then Camrose then on to Banff. Finally, she worked in Calgary for 35 years at the Foothills Hospital until her retirement.
Prior to her retirement she travelled extensively - Europe and Kenya. A few years following her retirement, because of health issues she moved to Wetaskiwin, Alberta.
A memorial gravesite service will be held at the St. Michael's cemetery in LaCorey, Alberta on June 15, 2024, at 1:30p.m. Lunch will follow at The Neighborhood Inn 5011-66 Street, Bonnyville, Alberta.
