On June 4, 2024, Mr. Matthew Tanouye of Edmonton, Alberta formerly of St. Paul, Alberta, passed away at the age of 47 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl; 2 sons, Logan & Kadence; mother, Nita (Larry) Windiuk; in-laws, Eugene & Judy Lesyk; 2 brothers, Greg (Janis) & Michael; sisters-in-law, Lori (Robert) Martin & Sheena (Michael) Maxwell; nieces & nephews, Ethan, Isaac, Dylan, Shelby, Ethan, Gavin, Aiden & Madison; Baba, Jean Lesyk; numerous relatives & friends. Matthew was predeceased by his father, Gerard; brother, Jimmy; Gido, Bill Lesyk; Baba, Zenia Haraba. A Visitation was held on Friday, June 14 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. A Funeral Service was held on Saturday, June 15 at 2:00 p.m. at Protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, St. Paul.
