On March 25, 2022, Mrs. Rose “Efrozena” Taschuk (nee Svanda) of St. Paul passed away at the age of 91 years. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Marcel) Lafortune of St. Paul; 7 grandchildren, Adam Thomas (Marzi), Erin (Michael), Adam Norman (Amy), Tristan, Ashley (Chester), Sarah (Michael) & Raeah (Nic); 9 great-grandchildren, Thomas, Liam, Olivia, Austin, Jack, Evan, Noah, Xenah & Axton; sister, Yvonne Jordan of Victoria, BC; numerous nieces & nephews. Mrs. Taschuk was predeceased by her husband, Harry; son, Wally; her parents, Daniel & Maria Svanda; 6 brothers, Walter, John, Emil, Joseph, Dan & (baby) Daniel; 2 sisters, Mary Kubash & Helen Gogowich. A Funeral Service was held on Saturday, April 2 at 11:30 a.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Debbie Lafortune led the service, with interment in Union Cemetery, St. Paul.
