On November 23, 2023, Joan Beverly Tchir of Vilna passed away at the age of 73 years. She is survived by her brother, Frank (Beverly) Darr; sister, Faye (Rudolph) Knitel; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces & -nephews. Joan was predeceased by her father, Stanley Tchir; mother, Jean Tchir; brothers, Jim & Bob; sister, Susan. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 11 at 11:00 a.m. at Vilna Cultural Centre, Vilna. Reverend Father Andrij Nykyforuk will be officiating with interment in Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Stry.
