Alberta-Pacific Forest Industries Inc. and Northland Forest
Products Ltd. have received approval from Forestry and Parks
to apply herbicides on 1670 hectares of harvested areas.
Where: In the Lac La Biche and Athabasca area the following

When: Applications will start on August 5, 2024 and
conclude by September 15, 2024.
How: Application of glyphosate will use aerial and
ground methods.
Al-Pac has received an Environmental and Social Risk
Assessment (ESRA) that was developed collaboratively by
the FSC. The ESRA is available upon request.
