ST. PAUL – The St. Paul area is welcoming back one of its own, as Skye-Lee Feland officially opened the doors to Aspen Hills Denture Centre on Aug. 23 - the Town’s newest denture centre, located by the main street.

Right after high school, Feland knew she wanted to become a denturist. Denturists are healthcare professionals specializing in creating and fitting oral prosthetics.

Feland earned her license in 2021 and has been working ever since. Earlier this year, she opened her first location in Cold Lake in February, before opening a second one in St. Paul.

Feland grew up in Mallaig, but also considers St. Paul as her hometown, having graduated from St. Paul Regional High School.

“I wanted to be back in my hometown... see some familiar faces,” and be able to also serve the communities in the region, she says. Feland will be working in St. Paul on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and in Cold Lake on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

“I really look forward to making great, quality dentures, and providing a very welcoming and inviting atmosphere to patients,” says Feland. “And I look forward to meeting more people.”

She offered her gratitude to everyone who has supported her along the way, and all those who helped her open the new clinic, “Because without them, this wouldn’t be possible."

She adds, “I’m very passionate about the profession, and I’m very glad that I get to be back in my hometown and doing what I love.”

Yvonne Weinmeier, executive director of St. Paul and District Chamber of Commerce, expressed her excitement with the new business in town.

“It’s very exciting to have these folks come to town and do such a wonderful job with this building... it looks fabulous,” she says. “I’m glad to see the partnership built and to see them bring their business to St. Paul.”
