LAKELAND - An Environment Canada weather advisory is warning people that foggy conditions will continue across a large portion of the province, tonight.
"Near zero visibility in fog is occurring or expected to occur tonight," reads the advisory released by Environment Canada on Dec. 22, shortly after 6 p.m.
"Fog is expected to redevelop this evening. There may also be a risk of freezing drizzle in some areas which will lead to slippery conditions. Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero," reads the advisory.
"Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations," it further states.
In the Lakeland region, foggy conditions began on Dec. 21, and continued throughout the day on Sunday.
