SADDLE LAKE - There is an increased police presence in Saddle Lake Cree Nation Friday morning, but RCMP say there is "no immediate risk to the public at this time."
RCMP sent out a notice at about 8:45 a.m. on Nov. 1, asking people to refrain from posting photos of responding officers on social media,
"We understand that an increased police presence can make the community feel uneasy, but rest assured, we are here to ensure the safety of everyone," reads the RCMP notice.
