GOODFISH LAKE - Police are looking for witnesses to an alleged aggravated assault that took place in Goodfish Lake in May.
Information provided in a media release from St. Paul RCMP dated Oct. 1 states that on May 26 at about 11:50 p.m., St. Paul RCMP received a report of an aggravated assault. When police arrived in Goodfish Lake, they found a man who had been "severely beaten."
"The victim sustained significant injuries and was airlifted to hospital," according to RCMP. "Through investigation, police believe a group of five individuals are responsible, however, their identity remains unknown at this time."
RCMP are investigating this incident and urge anyone with information to come forward.
