Two people arrested after early morning police pursuit

ST. PAUL - A police pursuit on Jan. 22 ended with St. Paul RCMP arresting two people.

Shortly after 3 a.m., St. Paul RCMP became involved in a pursuit of a vehicle that had been reported stolen. The vehicle allegedly fled from police, "but was caught after police intervention," according to RCMP.

Two individuals in the vehicle were arrested and charged.

Robin Jay Gladue, 20, a resident of Saddle is facing several charges, including flight from peace office, failing to comply with a probation order, driving an uninsured vehicle on the highway, and more.

Gladue was held for a judicial hearing and remanded into custody. His next court appearance is scheduled for Jan. 23.

Wyatt Cardinal, 22, a resident of Saddle Lake, has been charged with disobeying order of court.

Cardinal was held for a judicial hearing and was released on conditions. His next court appearance is scheduled for Feb. 20.
