ST. PAUL - One person has died following a motor vehicle collision west of St. Paul on Highway 29 near Sec. Hwy. 652 on Saddle Lake Cree Nation.
St. Paul RCMP report receiving a 911 call at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Sept. 20. According to a media release, a midsized SUV collided with the rear end of a school bus. The 46-year-old driver of the SUV was pronounced deceased at the scene. The name of the deceased will not be released.
RCMP indicated no children were present during the collision.
St. Paul Forensic Collision Reconstruction Unit attended to process the scene for further evidence. The collision is still under investigation.
