VILNA - This year's annual Vilna Boomtown Days once again drew hundreds of people to the small village, located just off Highway 28. The traditional parade helped kick off the day on Saturday.

Plenty of candy was collected by children as they watched several floats travel down the village's historic main street. After the parade, people moved to the Vilna Cultural Centre where there was live entertainment, lots of food, a large market, kids' games and a benchshow.

The day also included a fundraiser hay auction and a pig and chicken scramble in the afternoon.
