MADISON, Wis. (AP) — In a Feb. 18 story about the race for Wisconsin education secretary, The Associated Press reported that Brittany Kinser is an advocate for private schools. The story should have made clear that Kinser is an advocate for the state’s school choice program, which allows parents to send their kids to charter schools or use public money to send them to private schools.
