BONNYVILLE - Bonnyville RCMP charged two people following an investigation into vandalism that occurred at a neighbourhood playground in April.
On April 28, Bonnyville police received a complaint of vandalism, "including graffiti and vulgarity that occurred overnight to the neighbourhood playground in the Willow Ridge subdivision in the MD of Bonnyville," according to information from RCMP.
The investigation led members to two suspects and the execution of a search warrant at a residence in the Willow Ridge subdivision where evidence was gathered.
Brooke Bowman, 19, of Bonnyville and a female youth from Kehewin were both arrested and charged with Mischief.
Bowman’s first court date is set for July 23 in Bonnyville Provincial Court, and the youth’s first appearance is Aug. 6.
