COLD LAKE - The Cold Lake Public Library held a Books and Bannock event on June 21 in the library reading garden in honour of National Indigenous Peoples Day.
There was homemade bannock available as well as a book display with materials to sign out and videos to watch. Librarian Cecilia Wingerter stated over 25 people from around the community attended.
