COLD LAKE - On June 26, the Cold Lake Public Library started installing its new community mural.
In April and May, the Cold Lake Library branches gave away 300 blank tiles to people of all ages. The tiles started coming back with completed artwork in June.
The artwork in the tiles has been done in a variety of media, with many supporting the theme of library or community.
Cold Lake Public Library director Leslie Price stated she was excited to see the public's reaction to the mural.
"People are stopping and looking and talking."
The tile mural can be see at the South Branch along the hallway that joins the main entrance.
