LAKELAND - Much of the Lakeland region was hit by heavy snowfall over the Nov. 22 to 24 weekend, with as much as 22 centimetres falling in Cold Lake overnight on Saturday.
The snowfall was part of a region-wide snow dump that also dropped more than 15 centimetres in the Lac La Biche area.
Some events in the region were cancelled due to non-essential travel not being recommended as snow kept falling.
