UPDATED: As of about 7 p.m. on Sept. 26, Elk Point RCMP have confirmed that Jager Cross-Memnook has been located safe.
"Jager was located a few kilometres from his home and will be seeking medical attention for exposure to the elements," states information provided by RCMP.
"The RCMP would like to thank the public for their outpouring of support and hours spent searching, the media for spreading the word, and the Edmonton Police Service for their assistance."
FROG LAKE - Police are looking for a five-year-old boy who was reported missing on Sept. 25.
Elk Point RCMP are requesting the public’s help in locating Jager Cross-Memnook. He was last seen in his residence on Frog Lake First Nations at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Monday afternoon.
"Elk Point RCMP would like to locate Jager and reunite him with his family," reads a missing persons report released by RCMP at 6:30 p.m., Monday evening.
Jager is described as being 3'6" in height, and weighing 60 lbs. He has red hair, a pale complexion and is non-verbal.
"Jager was last seen wearing a light blue Nike sweater and Paw Patrol pyjama bottoms," reads the missing persons report.
