Kids have fun while learning lessons in fire prevention

Lac La Biche County's Fire Rescue Services welcomed the community to a warm reception at their Station 1 fire hall in Lac La Biche on Thursday afternoon - part of the week-long celebration of National Fire Prevention Week across Canada.

Firefighters cooked up some smokies on the grill, offered tours of the fire hall and demonstrations of the equipment to community members young and old. The Lac La Biche County Fire Rescue Services have fire hall locations throughout the municipality in the communities of Plamondon, Rich Lake, Owl River Hylo and Lac La Biche. The Lac La Biche County fire crew is currently made up of about 60 active members and support staff.
