Lac La Biche – On March 22, a group of women from the Lac La Biche area gathered at the Lac La Biche Heritage Society for a day of working on quilting, sewing, knitting and crochet projects and socializing.
The event was put on by the ladies’ crafters and quilters group. The group runs weekly throughout the year at the Lac La Biche Heritage Society.
Those who participated in the event sat at sewing machines that had been set up in the building that houses the local seniors centre making items such as blankets, clothing, and even a backpack.
