LAC LA BICHE - League games between boys’ and girls’ soccer teams from across the Lakeland took place at Lac La Biche’s Bold Centre on Feb. 1 and 2.
The weekend featured U13, U15 and U11 teams from Cold Lake, Bonnyville, and St. Paul.
Throughout the indoor soccer season, which runs from October to March, soccer players within the Lakeland soccer district have the opportunity to practice their skills on the pitch and compete against each other, in preparation for the annual Lakeland Cup tournament.
The 2025 edition of the Lakeland Cup will bring soccer players in the U13 and older categories together for a weekend of games in Cold Lake, and determine who qualifies for provincials. It will be taking place from Feb. 21-23 at the Energy Centre.
