LAC LA BICHE - Players and coaches from the Portage College Voyageurs men’s hockey team were on the ice at the Bold Centre before taking a break for the Thanksgiving weekend. The Voyageurs were worked hard on drills in preparation for the upcoming regular season, and their next games after the Thanksgiving break.
On Oct.13 and 14, the Voyageurs will take on Briercrest College at home in their first game of the regular Alberta Colleges Athletics Conference season.
From Oct. 27 to 28, the team will be in Red Deer for a pair of games against the Red Deer Polytechnic Kings.
The Voyageurs went into the Thanksgiving break with one loss and one win in their ACAC exhibition games so far.
