On Tuesday evening at the Bold Centre turf, members of the Portage College Voyageurs men’s soccer squad enjoyed some laughs and camaraderie while practicing kicking drills in anticipation of their upcoming weekend games at home and in Edmonton.
The Voyageurs will be hosting the Keyano College Huskies this Friday, with the women hitting the pitch at 5 p.m. and the men going on at 7 p.m. On Saturday, the men’s and women’s squads travel to Edmonton to battle the King’s University Eagles.
The women currently hold sixth place in the seven-team Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Women’s North Division standings while the men’s team remains in fifth spot in the North Division.
