Australian firefighters stage in Lac La Biche before northern fire duty

A crew of about 50 firefighters made their way into northern Alberta on Tuesday afternoon, part of a group of international firefighting support for Alberta's growing wildfire demands.

LAC LA BICHE - A crew of about 50 firefighters made their way into northern Alberta on Tuesday afternoon, part of a group of international firefighting support for Alberta's growing wildfire demands.

Several dozen firefighters from across Australia spent the Tuesday night in Lac La Biche before heading towards fires south of Fort McMurray.
