BONNYVILLE - A 22-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman from Bonnyville have both been charged with robbery with a weapon after a carjacking on Dec. 11.

According to Bonnyville RCMP, a man allegedly jumped into a running vehicle and started driving it away seconds after the driver got out to take some photos for work.

The man then reportedly pulled a knife on the victim and drove into several parked cars before abandoning the truck and fleeing on foot.

Sam Nunweiler and Jasmine Williams were found in a nearby apartment in the 42 Street and 45 Avenue area of Bonnyville, and were arrested without further incident, according to RCMP.

"Nunweiler faced additional charges of four counts of Mmschief over $5,000 and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose," according to RCMP.
