BONNYVILLE - On Friday evening, the Bonnyville Pontiacs team 2 took on Cold Lake Ice during a U11 hockey tournament at the RJ Lalonde Arena.
All geared up and ready to win, the Bonnyville Pontiacs and Cold Lake Ice took turns taking shots on their opponents’ net in a back-and-forth match up during the U11 hockey tournament held at the Bonnyville and District Centennial Centre from Jan. 14-16.
Friday's game between the Pontiacs and the Ice saw a huge effort from both teams. Ultimately, the Pontiacs' would pull ahead starting in the second period, finishing the game 7-3.
On Sunday, the Pontiacs U11 team 2 celebrated a gold finish at the hockey tournament held at the Bonnyville and District Centennial Centre.
Playing against the Provost team, the nail-biting game ended with a score of 5-4 for the Pontiacs.
