SADDLE LAKE – A human skull found by a hunter last year in Saddle Lake Cree Nation has been identified by St. Paul RCMP.
On Oct. 13, 2024, St. Paul RCMP officers were called by a local hunter who found the skull while on a game trail.
"RCMP officers quickly attended and had the skull sent to the medical examiner’s office. RCMP met with the Saddle Lake Band to advise them of the discovery," reads information from RCMP at the time.
In early February of this year, the remains were identified to be those of Bradley McGilvery, a man from Saddle Lake who had been reported missing on Nov. 25, 2022. He was last seen on Oct. 28. 2022.
