Voyageurs lose Friday night game to SAIT 4-3 in double OT

It took 2 OT periods for the SAIT Trojans to beat the Portage Voyageurs 4-3 in ACAC hockey Friday night. Portage let the Trojans get back into the game with three unanswered goals in the third period that forced overtime.

Portage let the Trojans get back into the game with three unanswered goals in the third period that forced overtime.

The loss leaves the Voyageurs with zero wins in five games played so far in the season. The win gives SAIT a 3-2 record on their season. After Friday's game, the Voyageurs are in last place of the seven-team Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference, two points behind Concordia and 15 points back of first place NAIT.

The two teams clash again Saturday Nov. 4 at the Bold Center. The puck drops at 1 pm.

The Voyageurs play NAIT in back-to-back home games on November 10 and 11.
