CHICAGO (AP) — Hank Steinbrecher, who helped revive the U.S. Soccer Federation during a decade in charge as its women's team became the world's dominant power, died Tuesday at his home in Tucson, Arizona. He was 77.

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — Han Jong-Hee, a senior Samsung Electronics executive credited with elevating the company's television business, died Tuesday, the company said. He was 63.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Former U.S. Rep. Mia Love of Utah, a daughter of Haitian immigrants who became the first Black Republican woman elected to Congress, died Sunday. She was 49. Love's family posted news of her death on Love's X account.

WELLINGTON, New Zealand (AP) — Famously tough All Blacks loose forward Alex (Grizz) Wyllie who went on to coach New Zealand to 25 wins in 29 tests has died. He was 80.

BROOKLINE, Mass. (AP) — Kitty Dukakis, the wife of former Massachusetts governor and Democratic presidential candidate Michael Dukakis, who spoke openly about her struggles with depression and addiction, has died. She was 88.

LONDON (AP) — Oleg Gordievsky, a Soviet KGB officer who helped change the course of the Cold War by covertly passing secrets to Britain, has died. He was 86. Gordievsky died March 4 in England, where he had lived since defecting in 1985.

ANKARA, Turkey (AP) — Filiz Akin, a screen actress and iconic figure of Turkish cinema of the 1960s and 1970s, has died, the Health Ministry said. She was 82. Akin died Saturday in a hospital in Istanbul. The cause of death was not specified.

George Foreman became the heavyweight champion of the world in his 20s, only to lose his belt to Muhammad Ali in perhaps the most memorable fight in boxing history.
