This is all political theatre. Smith and her UCP have their own agenda and that is the plan whether you like it or not. You just need to ask yourself if her Govt has made you better off than you were before Smith. Anyone who answers “yes” is fooling themselves. Until you realize she is all about retaining power instead of working for you, nothing will change. She is not our only problem in this town, Tanya Thorn is part of the problem as well with her wasteful spending in the wrong places. Our property taxes are literally getting out of hand. If new Construction cannot be planned without raising our taxes, then it should not be approved. Enough is enough.

Why? Smith just does what she wants anyways, she doesn’t listen. Our property taxes went up because of her cuts and Alberta educational tax increase.
There is nothing she or Sigurdson (Mr. Invisible) can say that will make me vote for the UCP ever again. Governments don’t work for you, they work for themselves!

I definitely agree with this letter. This council fails to deal with the deer population, fails at road maintenance. They even fail at maintaining our parks and playgrounds. To many residents don’t care for their properties anymore turning this town into an overpriced garbage can!
We pay outrageous taxes for what reason?
I remember before Thorn became Mayor how much better this town used to be. She needs to be turfed along with all these Councillors.

The bonus is no more deer dropping or grazing on my lawn, which is another problem this town needs to address.

Create a bylaw that forbid vehicles parking on roads during the one day of garbage collection for that area from 10AM to 5PM. Reducing 1 garbage bin doesn’t eliminate the risk of congestion.
Ticket the cars that don’t comply.

In the Summer heat, the Black and green bins should be the ones picked up every week to eliminate the rotting smell. The blue bin every 2 weeks. Who ever came up with this decision certainly doesn’t get it. Change it!
