Looking for a thrilling challenge? Want to take your adventurous spirit to new heights? If so, Snow Valley’s Aerial Park is for you!
Snow-Valley-Aerial-Park

Located on the Snow Valley complex where you’ll also find the Rainbow Valley Campground and two new adventures (Whitemud Creek Mining Co. and Target Golf), Aerial Park let’s you climb safely among the tree tops on a tower suitable for all skill levels.

There are more than 100 games and obstacles on the tower including Snow Valley themed elements like a ski bridge, snowboard balance bridge, picnic table, and even more. Feeling brave? Do the free-fall drop. Want something less challenging? That’s no problem as each adventure is classified as green, blue, and black (just like the runs on a ski hill). Choose green for the easiest obstacles, blue to push yourself a little more, and black for the adrenaline rush. You can choose your own adventure by sticking with one path or mixing it up. There is no right or wrong way to choose as long as you are following the rules, operating safely, and having fun!

To enjoy Aerial Park, you must be at least 125 cm (4 ft, 1 in) tall. The adventure is a maximum of two hours and includes orientation and a safety harness. Guides are on the tower and ready to help if needed. If they see you struggling with an obstacle, they will offer some tips.

To ensure your safety and the safety of the guides and other guests, you must wear a mask or face covering and wear runners or athletic closed toed shoes. No flip flops, crocks, sandals, or bare feet are allowed. There is also a strict be-on-time policy. Arrive 15 minutes prior to your start time. With capacity restrictions on the tower, if you are late you will forfeit your ticket.

Note that regardless of changing regulations in Alberta as COVID mandates ease, masks and distancing will be required at Snow Valley at least untill August 1. Tim Dea, Marketing & Communications Manager, explains. “This is an industry-wide initiative (Canada West Ski Area Association) to continue protocols that began in winter. The goal is to create a safe experience so we can return to a fully open ski season. Nationally, the Canadian Ski Council has joined the Faster Together coalition, which Snow Valley also supports.”

As always, Snow Valley works hard to bring you outstanding experiences all year round. Tim has an update on the latest venture.

“This summer, we will be working with Geoscapes to provide a different dining experience from what you are used to at Snow Valley. Geoscapes chefs will be bringing in a new menu, starting with Tito’s Patio. Sponsored by Tito's Vodka, it will feature barbeque and smoked meat items along many other unique offerings. The next feature will include a botanical garden area with pallet furniture, pergolas, and lots of vegetation to keep separation.”

The Geoscapes dining experience is set to start in July. Check Snow Valley’s news and events page for updates.

Snow Valley’s Aerial Park will give you the best thrill of the summer. Remember to book online, arrive 15 minutes early, wear a mask, and practice social distancing. Make a full day or weekend of it! There are plenty of other things to do on site after your time on the aerial tower. Stay at the campground, visit the Whitemud Creek Mining Co. adventure and Target Golf, and top it off with a couple scoops from the ice cream shack.
