ST. PAUL – On April 8, the St. Paul Municipal Library hosted the opening night of its third annual mini art show.
Every year, the library provides small art canvases to community members interested in the art show. Participants can create any art in any medium within that small canvas.
"It's just a way to gather the community and celebrate the arts," said Melisa Finlay, a volunteer organizer with the library. It's also a way to just celebrate "the wonderful work the library is doing," she added.
Finlay thanked all those who came out during the night, but added there are still plenty of opportunities for the rest of the community to check out the displays.
The mini-art show will run until April 30.
