ST. PAUL – On Dec. 16, Santa and his elf "Snowflake" were spotted at the St. Paul Municipal Library.

Monique Poulin, program coordinator at the library, said they had been collecting letters from the youth in the community prior to Santa's visit. "We mailed them to the North Pole," and then on Dec. 16, Santa visited the library to hand back the letters and chat with the kids.

Santa responded to 141 letters sent through the library's services. The library will mail out the letters not picked up.

During Santa's visit, kids also had the opportunity to make crafts to give to Santa, with 76 people in total making a craft. Poulin said it had been a great day. "The kids are really loving it," she said, adding over 100 people visited Santa on Saturday.
