SMOKY LAKE - RCMP are on scene of a single vehicle collision that has resulted in road closures north of Smoky Lake.
"Smoky Lake RCMP are currently on scene of a single vehicle collision involving a semi. Although there are no injuries, traffic on Highway 855 between Township Road 602 and 604 will be detoured while emergency workers respond and clean up the scene," reads a notice released just before 5 p.m. on April 7.
According to a social media post by Smoky Lake County Fire Services, the collision involves dangerous goods.
"Material is contained but expect travel delays until further notice," reads the post at about 7:30 p.m.
