ST. PAUL - The St. Paul Registries Office will remain closed until they receive confirmation it is safe to re-open.
The building, located at the corner of 50 Ave and 44 St in St. Paul was hit by a vehicle on Dec. 29, causing extensive damage to the northwest corner of the building where the Registries Office is located.
Darryl Poirier is the owner of both the building and the registries office. He said he has the contractor lined up to do the repair work but is still waiting on the go-ahead from the insurance company.
The next nearest Alberta Registries Agent to St. Paul is located at Elk Point Insurance, at 4830 50 St. in Elk Point. There are also locations in Bonnyville and Vegreville.
