ELK POINT - Elk Point Chamber of Commerce and EDC kicked off the festive season with Christmas Extravaganza on Nov. 29. The 25-display Forest of Lights was lit up, along with the Lions Club’s hot dog barbecue taking place and the Winter Wonderland Parade making its way through town.
There was cookie decorating, card-making and games at The Garage youth centre, hay rides, cheerful bonfires, visits with Santa, late evening shopping for entries in the Extravaganza Bingo, and it was also the start of a two-week Shop Local campaign.
