ELK POINT - The Lennon and McCartney Tribute Concert by Mick Dalla-Vee and Michael Sicoly took Tuesday’s audience at the Elk Point Allied Arts back to the beginning of the career of these two famous Beatles, with newsreel and Ed Sullivan Show clips and home movies of their earliest days as a background for songs ranging from ‘All My Lovin’ to ‘Hard Day’s Night’ and many other favourites from their stellar career.
The pair followed up Tuesday evening’s concert with a free concert on Wednesday for the Elk Point Elementary School students and staff, with some of the students coming forward to get in on the action.
