A request from Member of Parliament Shannon Stubbs for Town Council’s assistance in finding nominees for the King Charles III Coronation Medal instantly brought forth the name of the late Laverne Wilson.

Elk Point Elementary School students flocked to the south end of their playground as Elk Point Fire Department members in full protective gear made their first of two laps around the traditional parade route, accompanied by the department’s new Rescue 2 unit.
