In sharp contrast to the bitterly cold subzero temperatures that gripped the Lac La Biche region two weeks earlier, the weather during the Jan. 26 weekend was balmy by comparison. Many people around Lac La Biche took advantage of Saturday’s unseasonably warm temperatures to get outside to walk, play hockey on outdoor rinks, and other activities.
