Glendon School honours 2024 graduates

On June 22, Glendon School bid farewell to its graduating class of 2024.

GLENDON – On June 22, Glendon School bid farewell to its graduating class of 2024.

Holly Feland, the graduation committee’s president and one of the nine graduates, said that “As our path leads us beyond the world’s largest perogy, we carry with us the lessons learned and the values instilled in us.”

She added, “Working together, we have learned the importance of resilience, empathy, and collaboration.” She encouraged the graduates to always look forward to the future with hope and determination.

Dania El-Safady and Kaile-Jaye Kwiatkowski are the co-valedictorians of this year’s graduating class.

El-Safady said their small class had become like a family. They supported and celebrated each other.

“This closeness has created an environment where every voice is heard, and every achievement is recognized,” she said.

Kwiatkowski shared similar sentiments.

“Our collective effort has brought us to this significant milestone, and I hope we have all gained valuable lessons along the way. Let us carry forward the lessons of kindness, understanding, and compassion as we embark on our respective journeys,” she said.

The co-valedictorians then thanked everyone who supported the class in their journeys, from the teachers, the school staff, to friends, and families.

Principal Maureen Ference said the class's graduation is only the beginning of their journeys, and that the impacts of the small but mighty group of graduates will ripple far beyond Glendon School’s walls.

She also asked them not to limit themselves.

“As you take your next step into post-secondary, securing employment or finding your creative passion, remember Glendon will always be your home, and your legacy will continue to shape its future,” said Ference.
