COLD LAKE - A single vehicle collision involving a motorcycle resulted in the death of a 35-year-old Cold Lake man on Sept. 29.
At about 2:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Cold Lake RCMP received a report of a single vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on Range Road 415A (Baywood Road) in Cold Lake.
"Preliminary investigation revealed a 35-year-old male from Cold Lake was travelling north on Range Road 415A on a motorcycle and passed two vehicles before a collision into a ditch occurred," according to RCMP.
The driver suffered serious life threatening injuries and was brought to hospital where he was declared deceased. Cold Lake RCMP, along with a RCMP Collision analyst, continue to investigate the incident.
The name of the deceased will not be released and no further updates are anticipated.
