It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of their dear mother and loving wife. After a year of battling cancer, she fell asleep in death on February 10, 2020 at the age of 66. She is leaving behind her husband, Robert Bondar of 44 years; her three daughters, Sarah Schootstra (Husband Aaron), Marie Bondar, and Carmen Bondar, as well as her two grandchildren, Hudson and Evey Schootstra. She is also predeceased by her son, Wade Bondar. She will be missed by her many siblings, 5 brothers and 5 sisters, along with their families. We would like to thank the many health care professionals that helped to care for mom during her time of illness. We are also very grateful for the love and support of her many friends and family. She will be missed by those in the Lac La Biche community who were positively affected by her 30 or so years of teaching piano and her participation in the annual Music festival. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 15th at 1:00pm in the Devon Room at the Bold Centre (8702 91 Ave, Lac La Biche).
